The Androscoggin is a vibrantly colored board that boasts the beautiful Orange/ Red color of Padauk, Maple ,Walnut and a Purple Heart center. I have blended the color pattern in the attempt to Honor the Abenaki Idian tribes that once settled this Maine county. The board, as in most, is made with edge grain construction for the durability factor and heavy knife useage. My inspiration for this design pays homage to Maine's first settlers in recognition of their toughness and desire to thrive in the rugged Maine wilderness as well as their desire to settle mostly on rivers, where the abundance of salmon were once a very important resource. This pattern can also be made to typical demensions as of all of our boards (Small, Medium, Large, Charcuterie or Bread) (note our size chart for dimensions) .   Large $ 189.00 / Medium $ 179.00/ Small $ 169.00, Bread $ 99.00 / Charcuterie $ 89.00
